According to the proposed law for the sustainable development of the State of Sonora, presented by Dr. Francisco Alfonso Durazo Montaño, Governor of the State of Sonora, on February 7, 2022, the Council for the Sustainable Development of Sonora is a decentralized public body with legal personality and its own assets, as an entity within the parastatal public administration.
