UTH contributes to Governor Durazo’s efforts to strengthen the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan

With the launch of the Electromobility Engineering program, the Universidad Tecnológica de Hermosillo (UTH) is contributing to Governor Durazo’s efforts to promote the semiconductor and electromobility industries through the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan.

Abel Leyva Castellanos, rector of UTH, announced that new educational programs will be launched in the summer, and to that end, he is fostering collaboration schemes with companies specialized in the development of advanced technologies.

In this regard, he mentioned that he met with executives from Eisenholz to analyze collaboration schemes that will expand UTH’s academic offerings and promote the development of electromobility in the state.

“For UTH, it is crucial that students receive broad and diverse training, which is why we are exploring options that will allow them to learn how to build and repair electric vehicles, not only of Mexican origin but also those manufactured by foreign companies,” he added.

For their part, Eisenholz representatives explained that their specialization includes learning tools such as training platforms for fault detection and resolution, mixed reality work options, artificial intelligence, specialized laboratories, and more.

Eisenholz is a company with over 15 years of experience operating worldwide through partners, distributors, and brokers in America, Asia, and Europe, with a team of researchers, industrial experts, and programmers specialized in artificial intelligence and mixed reality.
