The attraction of mining projects in the State is another of the results of the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan which is consolidated in Sonora as the main sustainability initiative to achieve the energy transition in the country, stated Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño to Grupo BAL executives.

The Governor, in a meeting with authorities from the mining sector that lead the Mexican conglomerate, extended the benefits of the Sonora Plan with the group of business leaders, and explained that the mining industry is one of the main pillars of this project, which seeks to strengthen the added value of minerals linked to electromobility, such as lithium, copper and graphite.
