In an effort to strengthen ties and continue driving the development of the business sector to create more and better jobs, Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño participated in the Commitment Ceremony of the Board of Directors of Coparmex Sonora Norte.
During the swearing-in of the new board of the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex), led by Gilberto Robles Bustamante, the state’s chief executive emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and the business sector to promote and attract investment to the state.
“I lead a government that facilitates investment, a government with open doors, always willing to support business initiatives because I am convinced that a long-term welfare policy can only be sustained through decent and fairly paid employment,” he stated.
Governor Durazo acknowledged the crucial role of the business community in contributing to a wage policy that has helped lift thousands of people out of extreme poverty.
For his part, Gilberto Robles Bustamante emphasized that the relationship with the government is essential for the economic and social development of the country, the state, and municipalities.
